Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University (FSMVU) continues to strengthen its commitment to academic quality and improvement in higher education. As part of these efforts, the Department of Interior Architecture within the Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture is qualified for a five-year accreditation from the Association for Accreditation of Design and Planning Education (TAPLAK), following an external evaluation process.

The accreditation recognizes the quality of the department's educational program in relation to established standards for design and planning education. Through its evaluation process, TAPLAK assesses academic programs towards quality criteria intended to support effective teaching, student learning, and the continuous development of higher education in design and planning disciplines.

The accreditation is valid from 2026 to 2031, it represents an important milestone for the Department of Interior Architecture and reflects its commitment to maintaining academic standards and enhancing the quality of its educational provision.
